Position – Scientist (Immunology)
Location – Cambridge, MA
Contract – 06 Months with a possibility of extension
Position Summary
- Join the Systems Immunology Lab to generate large-scale single-cell perturbational datasets.
- Utilize functional genomics and single-cell transcriptomics in collaboration with a small, cross-functional team.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate custom lentiviral libraries and maintain extensive cell cultures.
- Create edited cell pools via lentiviral transduction and arrayed electroporation.
- Develop, modify, and scale protocols for specific cell lines and cell types.
- Produce single-cell data using commercial platforms, including 10x Genomics workflows.
- Organizational Relationships
- Report to a Lead Scientist within the Systems Immunology Lab.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary experimental teams on a project basis.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Biology, Immunology, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant research experience.
Technical Skills
- 3 years of hands-on experience with:
- Standard cell culture techniques.
- Primary immune cell handling, isolation, and in vitro stimulation.
- Maintenance of cell lines.
- Molecular biology techniques: lentiviral infection, qPCR, western blot, flow cytometry.
Bonus: Experience with pooled CRISPR-based screening (CRISPRi, CRISPRa, gene editing) in immune cells.
Physical Requirements
Typical bench work, including sitting, pipetting, and lifting items up to ~10 lbs.

Salary : $40 - $46
