Job Summary:
We are looking for a highly motivated Helpdesk Technician to be responsible for providing technical assistance with computer systems, hardware and software updates and resolving basic technical issues.
Duties and Responsibilities:
· Provide support and troubleshooting for all end-user computer systems, mobile devices, printers and peripherals
· Provide support and resolve basic technical issues
· Provide resolution of basic security related issues (account lockouts and password resets)
· Escalate more complex issues to IT Manager as needed
· Perform routine maintenance and deploy software updates
· Set up new computer stations, laptops and mobile devices for deployment
· Perform related duties as assigned
Requirements:
· Position requires the applicant to be a US Person or Permanent Resident (Green Card Holder)
· High School Education Required
· CompTIA A Certification required
· 1-2 years of desk help experience required
· Basic knowledge of Windows Operating Systems and common business applications
· Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail and a proactive attitude
· Strong written and verbal communication skills
· Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced machine shop environment
· Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
