We serve both large-scale project installations and ongoing service clients, combining technical expertise with a commitment to quality and safety.THE ROLE - WHAT YOU'LL ACTUALLY DOFoundation (70%): Warehouse Material ControlYou'll master the fundamentals of professional warehouse operations with an emphasis on accuracy and process discipline:Execute daily material handling: receiving, shipping, staging, cycle counting, and inventory managementMaintain meticulous inventory accuracy using our Acumatica ERP system-every transaction matters because our technicians and project teams depend on reliable dataConduct regular cycle counts and investigate discrepancies to root cause (not just adjust and move on)Provide excellent service to field technicians and project teams for will-call and counter transactionsSupport the transition to our expanded Kansas City warehouse, including setup and optimization of tall vertical racking systemsOperate forklifts and material handling equipment safely (training provided if needed)Growth Opportunity (30%): Technical DevelopmentAs you demonstrate capability and interest, you'll expand into technical work:Light fabrication and assembly work-rack building, panel mounting, component preparation for installationsLearn product specifications, compatibility, and applications to become a technical resource for the teamDevelop hands-on knowledge of fire safety, security, and communications equipmentPotential progression into field support, project coordination, or installation work based on your skills and career goalsWHAT WE'RE LOOKING FORWe care more about your attitude, aptitude, and work ethic than your resume.
