Job Description:

The purpose of this position is to provide essential technical knowledge and perform design work as described below. This position serves as an Area Lead Designer or staff designer performing assignments of advanced complexity.

• Under general supervision of the Discipline Lead Engineer or Design Supervisor, serve as an Area Lead Designer providing guidance/supervision to designers

• Prepare and check designs of advanced complexity utilizing 3D modeling and 2D computer- aided drafting and design (CADD) automation tools

• Coordinate technical issues with other disciplines, project management, vendors and clients

• Execute work in compliance with Project Quality Plan and procedures

• Execute work in accordance with the approved project scope, cost and schedule baselines

• Perform bulk material take-off analysis and tabulations

• Provide technical support to activities associated with equipment and material procurement and subcontracting including review of vendor submittals

• Provide technical support to activities associated with construction administration including response to construction requests-for-information and field changes

Basic Job Requirements:

Sr. Design Specialist

Job Description Responsibilities:

• Proficiency in computer aided design (CAD) with demonstrated experience with computer aided

• Use drafting applications to originate and produce drawings with minimum supervision

• 3D modeling experience required (S3D preferred)

• Read, interpret and generate design drawings with minimal input from a member of the engineering staff.

• Must have the ability to walk down field systems with minimal guidance, interpret field direction, generate minor design details, create new drawings, modify existing drawings, and direct junior drafters

Job Description:
The purpose of this position is to plan and perform work requiring sound technical judgment in the evaluation, organization, and execution of project management assignments worldwide. This role has the responsibility to perform the essential job duties and functions as listed below with the overall objective of managing and/or coordinating project activities that are in compliance with the contract and ensure the safety, quality, value, timeliness, and profitability of the completed project. Performing assigned general duties of limited scope and level of responsibility, this position is designed to develop broader project management knowledge and experience. At this level, the role may have the responsibility as the only project engineer on a medium size project with full accountability for the general duties, or the responsibility for general duties on a larger or more complex segment of a very large project.

• Perform basic project engineering functions involving monitoring of progress, preparation of procedures, documentation of communications and meetings, and identification/evaluation of project issues and problems

Job Description:

The Specialist I has a depth of knowledge within designated Information Technology (IT) area of responsibility that is applied to diverse assignments. Plumbing Designer (Principal)

About the Role:

Client is seeking a highly experienced Principal Plumbing Designer to support complex industrial, commercial, and infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will have proven expertise in S3D modeling, isometric extraction, and detailed plumbing design for large-scale EPC projects. This role involves leading design deliverables, coordinating multidisciplinary interfaces, and ensuring compliance with project standards and industry codes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the development of plumbing design packages for industrial, commercial, and mission-critical facilities.
• Create and manage detailed S3D plumbing models, ensuring accuracy, constructability, and adherence to project specifications.
• Generate, review, and modify extracted isometric drawings (ISOs), ensuring completeness, correctness, and alignment with engineering intent.
• Develop layouts for water supply, drainage, vent systems, wastewater, RO/DI water, fire water routing, and utility systems.
• Coordinate with Mechanical, HVAC, Structural, Architectural, Process, and Electrical disciplines to resolve clashes and design constraints.
• Perform routing, sizing, and material selection based on project requirements and applicable codes (IPC, UPC, NFPA, ASME, etc.).
• Prepare Bill of Materials (BOM), MTOs, and other supporting documents for procurement and construction.
• Participate in design reviews (3D model reviews, interdisciplinary checks, constructability reviews).
• Support QA/QC activities, ensuring adherence to design practices and client standards.
• Mentor junior designers and support resource planning when needed.
• Provide technical guidance to ensure timely and high-quality deliverables.

Required Qualifications

• 10–15 years of experience in Plumbing / Piping Design in EPC, industrial, semiconductor, or large commercial projects.
• Strong proficiency in Smart 3D (S3D) is mandatory.
• Hands-on experience in ISO extraction, modification, and quality checks is required.
• Proven background in designing water supply, drainage, sanitary, vent, laboratory, and utility systems.
• Strong understanding of relevant industry codes and standards (IPC, UPC, NFPA, ASME).
• Ability to interpret P&IDs, datasheets, schematics, and vendor documents.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work with multi-disciplinary teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working on projects or familiarity with work processes.
• Experience in advanced industrial projects: semiconductor, pharmaceuticals, energy, chemical, or data centers.
• Knowledge of Navisworks, SP3D, AutoCAD, and other 3D/2D design tools.
