About the Role:
Client is seeking a highly experienced Principal Plumbing Designer to support complex industrial, commercial, and infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will have proven expertise in S3D modeling, isometric extraction, and detailed plumbing design for large-scale EPC projects. This role involves leading design deliverables, coordinating multidisciplinary interfaces, and ensuring compliance with project standards and industry codes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development of plumbing design packages for industrial, commercial, and mission-critical facilities.
- Create and manage detailed S3D plumbing models, ensuring accuracy, constructability, and adherence to project specifications.
- Generate, review, and modify extracted isometric drawings (ISOs), ensuring completeness, correctness, and alignment with engineering intent.
- Develop layouts for water supply, drainage, vent systems, wastewater, RO/DI water, fire water routing, and utility systems.
- Coordinate with Mechanical, HVAC, Structural, Architectural, Process, and Electrical disciplines to resolve clashes and design constraints.
- Perform routing, sizing, and material selection based on project requirements and applicable codes (IPC, UPC, NFPA, ASME, etc.).

- Proven background in designing water supply, drainage, sanitary, vent, laboratory, and utility systems.
- Strong understanding of relevant industry codes and standards (IPC, UPC, NFPA, ASME).
- Ability to interpret P&IDs, datasheets, schematics, and vendor documents.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work with multi-disciplinary teams.
Preferred Qualifications
