8 years of experience with database management systems, including:
Database design
Testing
Implementation
Maintenance
Administration across multiple platform environments
Experience performing:
Database backup and recovery
Database configuration and parameter management
Prototype design against logical data models
Data repository definition and management
Data dictionary development
Data warehousing support
8 years of experience writing complex and efficient:
T-SQL queries
Views
Stored procedures
User-defined functions
5 years of experience with:
Microsoft SQL Server
SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS)
Parameters
Sub-reports
Drill-down reporting
Report subscriptions
5 years of experience producing technical documentation, including:
Requirements documentation
Functional and technical specifications
Traceability matrices
Design documents
Test documentation
3 years of experience creating and maintaining reports using Microsoft Azure Power BI
3 years of experience developing web applications
2 years of experience with:
Azure DevOps
Microsoft Visual Studio .NET

Key Responsibilities / Deliverables
The Database Administrator will be responsible for, but not limited to:
Database Administration
Manage and maintain all production and non-production databases associated with the EFS Modernization Project
Ensure database maintenance, access controls, and security standards are consistently followed
Research emerging database technologies and evaluate their applicability to the project
Application & Migration Support
Manage and maintain the Enhanced Field System (EFS) migration process
Maintain and update the DEL Parent Portal website as needed
Project Participation
Participate actively in project meetings and activities
Understand project objectives, requirements, and deliverables
Produce project deliverables in accordance with project goals
Communicate project progress and key information to stakeholders
Participate in conference calls with State and Federal stakeholders as required
Reporting & Documentation
Produce monthly status reports detailing:
Accomplishments completed during the reporting period
Planned activities for the upcoming month
Assist in preparing materials and updates for:
Program Leadership Team
Executive Steering Committee
Project Management Team
Risk Management & Problem Resolution
Identify and remove obstacles affecting solution delivery, business goals, or implementation efforts
Assist in developing and executing contingency and mitigation plans
