The Role
TECfusions is hiring a Senior Director, Marketing to build and lead the company’s marketing function at a critical stage of growth.
This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for the full spectrum of marketing, with immediate emphasis on content, communications, and external positioning.
The successful candidate will establish structure, define priorities, and deliver high-impact work across brand, PR, digital, and growth initiatives, while supporting business development, capital strategy, and community engagement.
Responsibilities
- Marketing Leadership & Strategy
- Define and execute the company’s overall marketing strategy
- Establish positioning across data center, AI, and energy infrastructure markets
- Build and scale the marketing function (team, partners, tools, processes)
- Content, Communications & Narrative (Priority)
- Own and develop all written content: executive communications, thought leadership, website and digital content, client and partner collateral
- Translate complex infrastructure, energy, and AI concepts into clear, compelling messaging
- Ensure consistency of voice across all external channels
- Public Relations & External Visibility (Priority)
- Lead PR strategy and media engagement
- Manage press releases, announcements, and industry positioning
- Support executive visibility, speaking opportunities, and thought leadership placement
- Proposals, Investor & Growth Materials (Priority)
- Develop high-quality proposals, presentations, and client-facing materials
- Support investor communications and company narrative development
- Partner with leadership on capital strategy storytelling
- Community & Stakeholder Engagement (Priority)
- Support communications tied to development projects and local communities
- Align messaging with government, regulatory, and economic development stakeholders
- Brand, Creative & Digital
- Establish and maintain brand standards (visual and written)
- Oversee design across presentations, digital assets, and marketing materials
- Manage website strategy, updates, and overall digital presence
- Ensure alignment across all marketing channels
- Demand Generation & Market Presence
- Support lead generation efforts aligned with commercial priorities
- Oversee campaigns, events, and industry engagement
- Partner with sales leadership to strengthen pipeline development
- Analytics & Performance
- Define key marketing metrics and reporting frameworks
- Track performance across campaigns, content, and engagement
- Use insights to refine strategy and improve effectiveness
Profile
- 10–15 years of marketing experience, with leadership at the Director or Senior Director level
- Experience in data centers, digital infrastructure, AI, enterprise technology, or energy/power/utilities
- Exceptional writing and storytelling capability
- Strong background in PR, communications, and brand positioning
- Experience across multiple marketing disciplines (content, digital, brand, demand generation)
- Ability to operate both strategically and hands-on
- Experience supporting investor communications, proposals, or capital-related materials preferred
- Comfortable building function from the ground up in a fast-paced environment
