Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled AV Technician – IT Engineer to provide support for audio-visual systems and IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, troubleshooting, and maintaining AV equipment while also supporting end-user IT issues to ensure seamless meeting room and workplace operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain audio-visual (AV) equipment, including:
- Projectors, displays, video walls
- Conferencing systems (Microsoft Teams Rooms, Zoom Rooms, Webex)
- Microphones, speakers, and control systems
- Provide on-site IT support for desktops, laptops, and peripherals
- Troubleshoot AV and IT issues in meeting rooms and conference spaces
- Support live meetings/events, ensuring smooth AV operations
- Perform cable management, rack setup, and device connections
- Assist with network connectivity issues related to AV systems
- Coordinate with remote IT and AV teams for escalations
- Maintain documentation, asset inventory, and ticket updates
- Ensure compliance with company standards and SLAs
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 2–5 years of experience in AV support and IT support roles
- Hands-on experience with AV systems and conferencing technologies
- Basic knowledge of networking (LAN/Wi-Fi, IP addressing)
- Familiarity with Windows OS and MS Office
- Experience with ticketing tools (ServiceNow, Jira, etc.)
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Good communication and customer-facing skills
Preferred / Nice to Have
- Experience supporting executive/VIP users
- Knowledge of Crestron, Extron, or AMX systems
- ITIL certification or relevant AV certifications
- Experience with digital signage or smart meeting rooms
Salary : $48,000 - $54,000
