Contingent upon contract award, TecMasters Inc. requires a Senior Fire Control Specialist.
Required Qualifications and Experience
• 12–15 years of experience as a U.S. Army 13J Fire Control Specialist, serving in positions such as Tactical Data System Operator, Fire Control Sergeant, Platoon/Battery-level Fire Control NCO, and Battalion, DIVARTY, or Brigade-level Senior Fire Control NCO.
• Field Artillery Digital Master Gunner with detailed knowledge of the Advanced Field Artillery Tactical Data System (AFATDS) and its integration with digital howitzer fire control systems.
• Detailed knowledge of the M109A7 and M777A2 Digital Fire Control Systems and their integration with AFATDS.
• Knowledge of U.S. Army communications systems and their integration with Field Artillery digital fire control networks.
• Knowledge of current battle management systems used for situational awareness at the section level and higher echelons.
• Knowledge of 155mm cannon artillery ammunition, including projectiles, propellants, and fuze combinations, and the limitations associated with safe firing of cannon artillery systems.
• Detailed knowledge of U.S. Army Field Artillery safety programs and procedures enabling the safe employment of cannon artillery systems.
• Strong understanding of the doctrinal employment of howitzer systems and the training requirements necessary for successful employment at the individual, section, and battery levels.
• Valid U.S. Passport with the ability to travel domestically and internationally.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license with experience operating and maintaining military vehicles.
• Combat Life Saver (CLS) certification or advanced first aid training.
• Experience operating U.S. Army heavy tactical wheeled vehicles including, but not limited to:
M977 Heavy Expanded Mobility Tactical Truck (HEMTT) series
M1075 Palletized Load System (PLS)
