Job description
The ideal candidate will be self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. As the Cash Application/AP Clerk the ideal candidate would be able to adapt to ever evolving technology, problem solving and create solutions as challenges arise and maintain a steady workflow.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Daily posting of customer payments
- Application of adjustments to customer accounts
- Dispute and deduction resolution
- Follow up on uncollected COD transactions
- Processing refunds
- Corporate branch cash drawer balancing
- Processing credit applications
- Manage AR department mail box
- Assist with month end processing
- Data Entry of purchase order and expense invoices
- Processing Online & ACH payments
- Processing weekly check run batches
Skills, Knowledge, & Abilities
- Cash Application experience preferred, but not required
- Ability to problem solve and effectively come up with solutions to issues
- Experience with computers and understanding of reporting tools such as Excel
- Excellent organization, mathematical, prioritization, and follow-up skills required;
- Ability to handle deadlines and to work under pressure with multiple interruptions.
- Able to provide a high level of service with external and internal customers
Qualifications
High school diploma or greater required
Schedule:
Full Time / Monday – Friday
7am – 4pm
Salary:
Starting minimum rate of $19 based on Experience and Education Level
