The Equipment Check-In / Wash Technician is responsible for receiving returned rental equipment, inspecting damages, cleaning, and preparing equipment for future rentals. This role ensures equipment is safe, clean, and in good working condition to meet company standards and meet customer expectations.

The Equipment Check-In / Wash Technician is responsible for receiving returned rental equipment, inspecting damages, cleaning, and preparing equipment for future rentals. This role ensures equipment is safe, clean, and in good working condition to meet company standards and meet customer expectations.
Job Duties And Responsibilities
- Greet customers returning rental equipment and perform check-in procedures.
- Inspect returned equipment for damage, missing parts, or excessive wear.
- Document equipment condition and report any damages.
- Perform daily rental equipment operations, including the washing of equipment and ensuring equipment is in good working order.
- Make local deliveries and pickups of parts and small rental equipment.
- Maintain current and accurate records and ensure safe and compliant work practices.
- Keep the yard, ready line, and shop cleaned and organized.
- Perform rotation of rental fleet on rental contracts; Source and maintenance for re-rentals.
- Demonstrate basic knowledge of various equipment product lines.
- Deliver excellent customer service and demonstrate high-level communication skills; Foster and ensure cooperative and collaborative partner relationships; Maintain a positive attitude.
