Duties And Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a team of foremen and pipefitters to deliver exceptional quality, safety, and customer service on assigned piping projects.
- Develop proactive solutions to identify and resolve potential issues before they impact schedule, budget, or quality.
- Review projects with leadership after equipment and subcontractors are procured; conduct physical site surveys and provide written reports on conditions and recommendations as required.
- Perform accurate material takeoffs in a timely and thorough manner to support planning and procurement.
- Plan, coordinate, and supervise all on-site piping operations, including scheduling, material control, equipment rentals, and daily field supervision.
- Ensure all site personnel comply with project procedures, safety requirements, company policies, quality standards, and contractual obligations.
- Document all incidents promptly, notify leadership, and recommend and implement corrective actions.
- Conduct regular job-site inspections to verify adherence to company standards, ensure jobs are properly prepared, and participate in system startups and commissioning as needed.
- Coordinate with the shop for production scheduling and material deliveries to support field progress.
- Oversee quality assurance on projects to minimize callbacks and warranty work; perform job-site walks with clients to ensure complete satisfaction.
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients, general contractors, subcontractors, and vendors through proactive communication and collaboration.
- Support human resources efforts by tracking employee performance, nominating individuals for promotions or incentive bonuses, and assisting with interviewing prospective team members.
- Champion safety by ensuring all company and project-specific safety requirements are met, verifying PPE usage, and coordinating with the safety officer for job-site visits and inspections.

Requirements/Qualifications
- Experience: 7 years of progressive experience in commercial/industrial piping installation and management, including significant time leading foremen and crews.
- Education: High school diploma or GED required; trade school, apprenticeship completion, or equivalent strongly preferred.
- Certifications/Licenses: Valid journeyman or master pipefitter/plumber license (or ability to obtain) preferred; valid driver's license and clean driving record required; OSHA 30-hour certification encouraged (company support provided).
- Physical Demands: Ability to regularly lift and carry up to 50 lbs, climb ladders/scaffolding/stairs, work in confined spaces or at heights, bend/kneel/crouch, reach overhead, and use tools/equipment for extended periods; frequent standing, walking, manual dexterity, and physical stamina required.
- Work Environment/Safety: Primarily field-based in commercial/industrial construction settings (indoor/outdoor, mechanical rooms, rooftops, varying weather); exposure to noise, dust, heights, welding hazards, chemicals, and confined-space risks; must strictly adhere to OSHA regulations, conduct hazard identification, and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) such as hard hats, safety glasses, gloves, harnesses, and steel-toed boots at all times—safety is our top priority and non-negotiable. This is a safety-sensitive position. Occasional regional or national travel may be required as business needs dictate.

Salary : $80,000 - $120,000
