- Develop proactive solutions to address potential challenges before they impact project success.
- Analyze bid documents to identify risks, opportunities, and cost-saving measures prior to project commencement.
- Review project drawings and create schedules that align with budgetary and timeline objectives.
- Collaborate with preconstruction services and operations teams to ensure project milestones and goals are achieved.
- Evaluate subcontractor scopes to identify risks, omissions, or opportunities for optimization.
- Foster open communication with project teams, clients, architects, engineers, and general contractors.
- Monitor project budgets, proactively identifying and addressing potential shortfalls or opportunities to enhance profitability.
- Ensure accuracy in budget forecasting and cost tracking throughout the project lifecycle.
- Organize and lead coordination meetings, site visits, and client meetings as required.
- Maintain detailed documentation of project scope changes, execution plans, and cost impacts.
- Set clear objectives and performance goals for team members, fostering a culture of accountability and success.
- Ensure strict adherence to budgetary, quality, and safety standards in accordance with company policies and industry regulations.
- Verify compliance with contractual obligations before initiating work.
- Ensure all work meets or exceeds industry standards for commercial HVAC and plumbing systems.
- Conduct quality assurance reviews to minimize call-backs and warranty issues.
- Perform job-site walkthroughs with clients to confirm satisfaction and address concerns.
- Proactively cultivate and maintain strong relationships with current and prospective clients to drive repeat business.
- Develop and nurture partnerships with subcontractors to support project success and future growth.
- Initiate new project opportunities through collaboration with architects, engineers, owners, and general contractors.
- Maintain consistent and transparent communication with all project stakeholders.
- Recruit, train, and mentor high-caliber personnel to build strong project teams.
- Track employee progress, delegate tasks effectively, and manage multiple project teams to ensure successful outcomes.
- Build and maintain relationships with subcontractors to ensure reliable partnerships.
- Strategically schedule subcontractors to optimize project timelines and outcomes.
- Monitor subcontractor performance to ensure alignment with project goals and quality standards.
- Recognize and track employee performance, recommending promotions or incentives as appropriate.
- Assist with interviewing and evaluating prospective hires, providing recommendations to the General Superintendent.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment to support team growth and development.
- Ensure compliance with Tebarco Mechanical’s safety policies and project-specific safety requirements.
- Verify that all personnel are equipped with and utilize proper personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
- Coordinate with the safety officer to conduct regular job-site safety inspections and maintain a safe working environment.
- Extensive experience managing commercial HVAC and plumbing projects.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Self-motivated, punctual, and capable of managing multiple tasks with strong follow-through.
- Professional demeanor in appearance, communication, and conduct.
- Experience with government facility projects is a plus.
- Proficient in project management software and tools for scheduling, budgeting, and reporting.
Salary : $85,000 - $130,000
