POSITION OVERVIEW
Key Responsibilities
- Manage procurement and purchasing for interior design projects, including furniture, lighting, materials, and finishes
- Place and track purchase orders; monitor lead times, shipping, and deliveries
- Coordinate with vendors, workrooms, manufacturers, and freight carriers
- Maintain accurate records for orders, invoices, and project budgets
- Support project managers and designers with scheduling and operational tasks
- Communicate order status updates internally and with clients as needed
- Assist with inventory tracking and vendor pricing updates
- Help refine and maintain internal operational systems and workflows
- Keep our office running smoothly
- Retail hospitality
Qualifications
- 2 years experience in operations, procurement, purchasing, or project coordination (interior design, construction, or retail preferred)
- Education: Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations, Interior Design, Merchandising, , or a related field preferred but not required
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Experience working with vendors, purchase orders, and invoicing
- Proficiency in Google Workspace; experience with project management or purchasing software a plus
- Exceptional data entry skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects at once
- Interest in interior design, furnishings, and materials
