Position Overview: As an Interior Designer at Mountain Furniture Co., you will work closely with our customers to provide personalized design consultations, create inspiring interiors, and enhance our in-store experience. Your role will be to translate client visions into beautiful, functional spaces while showcasing our exclusive furniture, lighting, and soft furnishing collections.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct design consultations with clients to understand their needs, preferences, and styles.
- Create custom design plans that incorporate our furniture offerings and align with client budgets.
- Develop mood boards, color schemes, and space layouts using design software.
- Collaborate with clients throughout the design process, ensuring their vision is realized.
- Stay current on design trends, materials, and furniture styles to inform your recommendations.
- Provide exceptional customer service and build lasting relationships with clients.
- Assist in visual merchandising of the store to display furniture and design concepts effectively.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or related field.
- Proven experience in interior design, preferably in a retail or boutique setting.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating design skills and creativity.
- Proficient in design software (e.g., SketchUp, AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
