Teasdale Fenton is a family-owned property cleaning and restoration company with more than 180 years of experience helping customers recover after water, fire, storm, and other property damage. As our Columbus, OH branch continues to grow, we are hiring a skilled Reconstruction Carpenter to complete repair and rebuild work on residential and commercial restoration projects.
What you’ll do
- Install, repair, and rebuild structural and finish carpentry components, including walls, floors, ceilings, frames, trim, cabinets, and related fixtures.
- Remove damaged or defective materials and complete high-quality repairs that restore properties to pre-loss condition.
- Inspect ceiling tile, floor tile, wall coverings, siding, glass, woodwork, and other building components to identify damaged structures and repair needs.
- Read scopes of work, take accurate measurements, plan layouts, and select appropriate materials for each job.
- Work directly with Project Managers and Estimators to complete assigned work within scope, budget, quality, and timeline expectations.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and jobsite equipment safely while keeping work areas clean and organized.
- Communicate professionally with customers, team members, subcontractors, and branch leadership.
