Thomas Jefferson Middle School is seeking a dedicated technology teacher and STEAM teacher responsible for engaging students in Grades 5–8 in innovative technology education. The technology teacher will deliver instruction in computer literacy, digital citizenship, the use of educational technology tools (including Google Classroom and Promethean Boards), and support the integration of core content through technology-enhanced, project-based learning. Responsibilities include planning and implementing lessons that foster creativity, problem-solving, and digital skills, promoting internet safety and ethical technology use, and adapting instruction to meet diverse learning needs. The ideal candidate will collaborate with colleagues to enhance digital learning across subject areas and inspire students to connect classroom concepts to real-world technological applications. A valid teaching certificate and experience with middle school learners are preferred for this role.
