- Utilize varied instructional strategies, including technology and hands-on activities, to support language acquisition and differentiated learning.
- Assess student progress using quizzes, projects, class participation, and formal/informal evaluations, and provide feedback to students and families.
- Manage classroom procedures, model respectful behavior, and communicate with parents, caregivers, and school staff regarding student progress and events.
- Participate in school life, such as supervising lunch or recess, attending events, and collaborating with faculty on school initiatives.
- Bachelor’s degree in Spanish, Education, or a related field.
- Fluency in Spanish and strong knowledge of language teaching methods.
- Strong classroom management, communication, and organizational skills
- NJDOE Instructional endorsement for K6 Elementary and Middle School Specialization in Spanish or
- Teacher of Spanish K12
- Knowledge of current teaching methods and educational pedagogy, as well as differentiated instruction based upon student learning styles.
- Knowledge of middle school curriculum and concepts, including all subject matters taught.
- Knowledge of data information systems, data analysis and the formulation of action plans.
- Knowledge of applicable federal and state laws regarding education and students.
- Ability to use computer network system and software applications as needed.
- Ability to organize and coordinate work.
- Ability to communicate effectively with students and parents.
- Ability to engage in self-evaluation with regard to performance and professional growth.

Position Summary
The Elementary/Middle School Spanish Teacher is responsible for designing and delivering engaging Spanish language instruction to students in grades 6-8. The teacher develops lesson plans focused on speaking, reading, writing, grammar, and cultural awareness, and accommodates a wide range of student learning styles and developmental needs
Position Responsibilities
