Job Title : Physical Therapist
Location : Silver City, NM, 88061
Shift : Day shift - 8A-4:30P, Mon - Fri
Contract : 13 weeks with high possibility of extension
Guaranteed Hours : 38/week
Pay : $80/week
JOB DUTIES :
- Assess Patients – Evaluate patients' physical conditions, mobility limitations, pain levels, and medical histories to identify treatment needs.
- Develop Treatment Plans – Create individualized rehabilitation programs to improve movement, strength, flexibility, and overall physical function.
- Provide Therapeutic Interventions – Use exercises, manual therapy techniques, stretching, and specialized equipment to help patients recover from injuries or illnesses.
- Monitor Progress – Track patient improvement, adjust treatment plans as needed, and document outcomes to ensure effective care.
- Educate Patients and Families – Teach patients about exercises, injury prevention, posture, ergonomics, and strategies for managing their conditions independently.
- Collaborate with Healthcare Teams – Work closely with physicians, nurses, occupational therapists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive patient care.
