Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our dynamic healthcare team. Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient assessments, including vital signs, physical examinations, and medical history documentation using EMR (Electronic Medical Records) and EHR (Electronic Health Records) systems.
• Administer medications via injection, IV infusion, and other routes following aseptic technique and safety protocols.
• Manage complex care procedures such as catheterization, tube feeding, wound suturing, ostomy care, and ventilator management.
• Coordinate diagnostic evaluations including laboratory specimen collection/processing, radiology orders like mammography or sonography, and diagnostic evaluation for infectious diseases.
• Provide specialized care in areas such as ICU, emergency medicine, trauma medicine at Level I or Level II trauma centers, geriatrics including memory care and Alzheimer's care, pediatrics including neonatal ventilator management, and hospice & palliative medicine.
• Assist with discharge planning, case management, health coaching, and patient education to promote optimal recovery and health maintenance.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain accurate medical documentation while adhering to NCQA standards and ICD coding requirements.
• Support infection control practices and maintain sterile processing standards to ensure patient safety across all clinical environments.
• Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams including physicians, therapists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• Valid RN license with current registration in the state of practice.
• Proven experience in medical-surgical nursing; critical care experience such as ICU or trauma center preferred.
• Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems like Epic, Cerner, Athenahealth or eClinicalWorks is highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, pharmacology, medical terminology, ICD-10/ICD-9 coding systems, CPT coding for procedures.
• Competence in performing IV insertion, phlebotomy, venipuncture, suturing, aseptic technique and airway management.
• Experience working with diverse populations including pediatrics (neonatal to toddler), geriatrics (memory/dementia care), individuals with disabilities or developmental disabilities.
• Ability to handle high-pressure situations in emergency room settings or Level I/II trauma centers with acute pain management skills.
• Excellent communication skills for patient assessment and education; capable of working independently or within a team environment.

Pay: $49.00 - $54.00 per hour
