Enterprise Technical Architect (Infrastructure & Security)

Location: Madison, WI

Schedule: Hybrid, 3 days/week in office

Salary: ~~$140,000


Description:  Oversee IT architecture across the organization with a heavy focus on IT Infrastructure while touching nearly all aspects of information technology including system administration, database, cybersecurity, and cloud technologies.


Responsibilities:  Assessment and design of overall technical architecture for the organization, ensuring technology and infrastructure meet business needs; serving as the technical lead on the assessment and deployment of large-scale initiatives; mentorship to junior technical staff; and working with IT management on overall IT strategy and goals.  


Requirements:

• 10 years of enterprise technology architecture, administration, and management
• Foundational knowledge of a broad set of technical skills across multiple IT fields such as infrastructure, database administration, system administration, cybersecurity, software development, etc.
• Experience leading and implementing technical architecture for large, complex solutions
• Networking experience across cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure
• Microsoft systems administration
• Ability to work with stakeholders, outside vendors, and non-technical personnel

Preferred Experience:

• Experience in insurance, finance or professional services industries preferred but not required
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Technology Management, etc.
