3rd Shift Metal Sorter
Starting Pay: $18.55/hour
Shift: 3rd Shift - 5:45 PM to 6:00 AM
Schedule: Monday-Thursday (Overtime as needed)

Job Summary
As a Metal Sorter, you will play a key role in the recycling process by ensuring materials are properly sorted and processed.
Responsibilities include:
• Working at a local scrap yard
• Feeding scrap metals into an industrial shredder to be processed into smaller pieces
• Sorting various types of metals as they move along a conveyor belt
• Visually inspecting metals for quality and accuracy
• Removing debris or materials that don't belong
• Shoveling debris that falls from the line
Qualifications
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
• Basic knowledge of different metal types
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, outdoor environment
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Steel-toe boots required
