Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and motivated HR Manager to join our growing healthcare organization in Brooklyn. This role will oversee all core human resources functions for a team of approximately 40 employees, helping to support recruitment efforts, employee development, performance management, and day-to-day HR operations.
The ideal candidate is organized, people-oriented, and able to balance compliance, employee relations, and business needs in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the full recruitment process, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding new employees
- Coordinate employee onboarding and orientation programs
- Conduct and oversee employee performance reviews and evaluations
- Partner with management to improve employee engagement and retention
- Maintain personnel records and HR documentation
- Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable employment laws
- Assist with employee relations matters and conflict resolution
- Support management with workforce planning and staffing needs
- Develop and implement HR policies, procedures, and best practices
- Assist with training and professional development initiatives
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- 3 years of Human Resources experience
- Recruiting and talent acquisition experience required
- Experience conducting performance evaluations and employee coaching
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism
- Healthcare industry experience is a plus
Pay: $75,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
