We are a succesful Brooklyn-based e-commerce company managing multiple product lines and digital brands. We are looking for a strategic, driven, and highly creative leader to elevate our brand presence, manage our creative team, and drive innovative campaigns across all channels.
Position Overview:
The Creative Director will oversee the entire creative department, including graphic designers, photographers, videographers, copywriters, and marketing creatives. This role is ideal for someone who not only has a strong creative background, but also excels in team leadership, task delegation, workflow management, and interdepartmental collaboration.
You will be responsible for developing brand vision, improving creative output, maintaining quality standards, and ensuring projects are delivered on time to support e-commerce growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, mentor, and manage the creative team across multiple disciplines
- Oversee branding, content development, product creative, and marketing assets
- Build, enforce, and enhance brand identity across all channels
- Collaborate with marketing, product, and sales teams to support product launches and campaigns
- Develop efficient creative processes, timelines, and workflows
- Review and approve creative deliverables to ensure quality and consistency
- Translate business goals into visual creative strategies
- Stay up to date with e-commerce, design, and digital marketing trends
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
Requirements:
- 3 years of creative leadership or management experience
- Proven track record leading creative teams (agency or e-commerce preferred)
- Strong portfolio demonstrating brand, digital, and campaign work
- Expertise in digital marketing creative (email, social, video, product pages, ads)
- Ability to manage deadlines, delegate tasks, and build structure
- Excellent communication, organization, and leadership skills
- Hands-on creative background (design, art direction, branding, or related)
