Role Overview
- Full-time, Monday-Friday
- Hours 8-5
- Provide psychiatric patient care to adults and adolescence in an inpatient setting
- Conduct psychiatric evaluations, diagnostic assessments, and mental status examinations
- Diagnose and treat psychiatric, behavioral, and neurocognitive disorders
- Prescribe and manage psychotropic medications
- Evaluate behavioral and safety concerns
- Provide interventions and behavioral management
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams across care settings
- Typical case load 14-16 patients/day
- Base salary plus productivity bonus, W2 position with full benefits (medical dental, vision, PTO, 401k)
- Paid after-hour call coverage (voluntary/by rotation)
- Paid weekend coverage (voluntary/rotation)
- Paid professional liability insurance with tail coverage
- Dual certification as a PMHNP and Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP), or Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (PNP-AC), or Adult Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner, or Adult Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner (AG-PCNP)
- Active, unrestricted Tennessee Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN)
- Active DEA or willingness to obtain
- Minimum of 1-year experience as a NP in an inpatient setting
