Job Description:

We are seeking compassionate, dependable Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to deliver high-quality, personalized care for an individual with disabilities in Middlesex County. This is an exceptional opportunity for individuals who value meaningful work, offering hands-on experience in both the mental health and medical fields within a professional and supportive environment. Our client is seeking a professional staff member who can help assist him throughout his day including college work, daily routines, and recreational activities. 18-30 hours per week!

As a Direct Support Professional (DSP), you will have the opportunity to engage in meaningful work, supporting adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Your role will be pivotal in enabling the individuals you care for to participate in community activities and thrive in their social environments.

Our Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) empower individuals to:

Acquire new skills, Exercise personal choices, Connect with their community, and Achieve their life goals.

In addition, Direct Support Professional (DSP) positions may involve providing assistance with Personal hygiene, Medication administration, Daily household chores, Activities of Daily Living (ADLs).

Individuals with experience as Home Health Aids (HHAs), Certified Nurses Aids (CNAs), Paraprofessionals, Companions, Registered Behavioral Technicians (RBTs), or ABA therapists are highly suited for this position!

Qualifications
- Caregiving experience
- Proficiency in assisting with ADLs
- Familiarity with direct support for individuals in home health settings
- Ability to provide patient care with compassion and empathy
- Knowledge of working with individuals with developmental disabilities
