Summary
As a Housekeeper / Environmental Services Technician, you will be essential in maintaining a clean and safe environment for our facility. Reporting to the Environmental Services Supervisor, your core responsibilities will include cleaning, sanitation, and floor care, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards. Your premium knowledge of OSHA regulations will enhance our commitment to safety. With relevant experience in janitorial, custodial, and hospital settings, you will contribute significantly to the overall cleanliness and hygiene of our organization, fostering a welcoming atmosphere for all.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED
- Trained in recipient rights of consumers
- Be culturally competent
Duties and Responsibilities: Each day upon arriving, check with staff on immediate needs and general housekeeping that includes :
- Vacuuming
- Dusting
- Cleaning baseboards
- Clean toilets, bathroom sinks, bathroom mirrors and tile walls
- Washing windows
- Emptying all garbage containers and assuring containers are clean
- Keeping garbage can liners
- Stocking of cleaning supplies
- Any minor repairs
- Contact the Environmental Director of any larger repair issues
- Maintain parking lot area (free of garbage, etc.)
- Any other duties as assigned by supervisor
