What are the responsibilities and job description for the RN Clinical Educator position at Team Select Home Care?
Team Select is looking for a passionate and dedicated RN Clinical Educator to join our West Conshohocken team. Our clinical educator will provide mentoring, education and evaluation to our newly hired clinicians and caregivers. The Clinical Educator will report directly to the Director of Nursing.
What We Do:
- The Clinical Educator will lead and/or assist in the orientation, training, QA and management of Team Select nurses, including our New Graduate nurses and more experienced nursing, to include assigning/managing Nurse competencies, supervisions and annuals.
- The Clinical Educator would work with the Ops team to assign and manage Care Academy, teach Home Health Aides and assign and manage HHA competencies, supervisions and annuals.
Clinical Educator Tasks:
- Conducts training classes on a regular basis for the following, but not limited to new hire orientation, skill advancement, aide training, newly implemented clinical process and re-education, as needed.
- Participates in in-service programs, supervising and teaching other nursing personnel.
- Understands and adheres to the Policy/Procedure, Best Practices, Infection Control Plan, EMS Plan, and the Compliance Plan. Be flexible - there are frequent changes in Home Care.
- Ensure that all staff are educated on the professional standards and expectations of Team Select and will also maintain and adhere to agency procedure and patient care policy standards.
- Performs competencies, in office and in the field. Educates as applicable to ensure optimal success by field staff. Works with Directors to plan, schedule and monitor annual Skills Fairs.
- Provides Documentation initial training, follows up with documentation/QA, provides additional virtual and/or in-person training, refresher sessions, and coaching.
- Time management, organization and attention to details are important to succeed. Basic computer skills is a must - all of our documentation is electronic, and we rely heavily on communication via Teams, e-mail, etc. You will receive a company laptop to use.
- Maintain acceptable attendance status, per Agency policy, and be on time to classes, patient visits, meetings, calls, etc. Must be reliable.
- Must be a team player. All members of the clinical and operations team work together to support one another. Our positive team culture and collaboration is a priority.
- There will be some driving involved - reliable transportation is a must. There is mileage reimbursement.
Job Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 - 5 years of nursing experience and a current PA RN license
- Previous Home Health Experience
- Trach and Vent Experience Preferred
- Pediatric experience (Preferred, but not required - must want to work with children and adults)

Work Location: 100 Front Street, Ste. 1275, Conshohocken, PA 19428. Primarily on-site, with some traveling to train, comp and supervise employees off site.
