RN and LPN Private Duty Nurse

Team Select Home Care is currently hiring Private Duty Registered Nurses (RNs) and Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) in Wilmington, NC and the New Hanover County area. Nurses will work 1:1 with medically fragile patients in the home setting and/or in a school setting.

LPN/RN Position Details and Responsibilities:

• Review, initiate, and implement care plan in accordance with the client’s needs.
• Provide one-on-one direct nursing care in the home with medically complex clients of all ages.
• Medication management & administration
• Monitor vital signs & medical equipment.
• Perform physician-ordered interventions, such as tracheostomy or ventilator care when applicable.
• Educating clients and families while providing companionship and emotional support.
• Regular assessments, charting any client changes in condition, progress, & care needs & notifying the DON accordingly
• Assist with other total care nursing duties.
• Make independent clinical decisions when necessary.

Shift Options (depending on client):

• Day, evenings, Overnights
• Weekends when available
• FT, PT, & PRN available with most clients
• 6–12-hour shifts

RN Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program
• Current, unencumbered RN or LPN license
• BLS Certification
• Pediatric experience (preferred, but not required)
• High acuity, Trach/Vent experience (preferred, but not required)

Pay: $30-$33
