Team Select of Indianapolis services a wide variety of clients who need skilled nursing care. We have the privilege of being able to lend a helping hand to both pediatric and adult clients who need care in various environments. Our skilled nursing team can work in a client's home and/or in school/classroom settings. Before working with a client, Together Homecare of Indianapolis will provide you the opportunity to meet a few families and assess the environment where you would be providing care. We will work to find a schedule that works for YOU and YOUR availability.
Daily Tasks Could Include but are not limited to:
- G-Tube Management
- Trach Care
- Seizure Management
- Medication Administration
- Catheter Care

Responsibilities
- Monitor clients ’ conditions and assess their needs to provide the best possible care and education.
- Observe and interpret the client’s symptoms and communicate to the reporting nurse.
- Collaborate with physicians and nurses to devise individualized care Plans of Care for their client.
- Adjust and administer client’s medication and provide treatments according to physician’s orders.
- Inspect the facilities and act to maintain excellent hygiene and safety (decontaminating equipment, sanitizing surfaces, preparing beds, etc.).
- Provide instant medical care in emergency situations.
- Foster a supportive and compassionate environment to care for clients and their families.
- Expand knowledge and capabilities by attending educational workshops, conferences, etc.

Requirements
- Current Registered Nurse license
- One (1) year experience in an acute care setting or equivalent experience PREFERRED.
- Current CPR Certification
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Negative tuberculin skin test, blood assay, or chest x-ray within the last 12 months
- Physical within the last 180 days
- Current, valid state-issued driver's license or State ID
