Authorization Specialist

Team Select is seeking an organized, detail-oriented Authorizations Specialist to manage insurance requests, appeals, and authorizations for Nursing services in the home for medically fragile patients.

Key Responsibilities

• Medicaid and other Insurance Authorization Management: Handle requests, appeals, and authorizations, ensuring timely compliance.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate, organized records for easy retrieval and regulatory compliance.
• Communication: Serve as liaison between Team Select and insurance agencies, primarily Medicaid programs.
• Appeals: Prepare and track Medicaid appeals, ensuring necessary documentation is complete.
• Ensure compliance and support the team’s efficiency in the authorizations processes.
• Administrative Support: Provide general administrative support as needed.

Qualifications:

• Education: High school diploma or GED required;

Skills:

• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; database experience is a plus.
• Ability to prioritize and multitask effectively.

Working Conditions:

• Full-time, on-site, fast-paced environment, with occasional overtime during peak periods.
