What are the responsibilities and job description for the Regional Building Services Management position at Team MJV?
GENERAL PURPOSE:
A Regional Coordinator will manage and assume overall responsibility for the success of their region by directing all operational aspects of each job site. This position will be responsible for, but not limited to, upholding all job sites to highest possible Team MJV standards, develop and maintain long-term relationships by providing excellent customer service, engage in the proactive development and leadership of team members, identify and follow-up on new building service opportunities, and assist in the new account start-up process. The Regional Coordinator is to professionally maintain the representation of Team MJV, its mission, goals, and standards of work all while providing a safe and healthy work environment for their team members.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage daily operations of designated region to meet business goals
- Develop and communicate goals and expectations for designated region
- Maintain working knowledge of all job site budgets and specifications
- Ensure all job site specifications are properly communicated and executed
- Analyze capital budget and expenses to find opportunities for cost-effectiveness and profitability
- Participate in generating new business opportunities and new account start-ups
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge on the most effective usage of products, services, and equipment
- Recruit, interview, hire, and train new team members
- Encourage, motivate, and develop all team members by providing effective coaching and guidance
- Drive team performance by providing a safe and supportive working environment
- Lead meetings with Site Coaches, Area Coaches, and/or Asst. Regional Coordinator to discuss business updates, issues, and/or opportunities
- Conduct weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly walk-through inspections for each job site to ensure customer satisfaction
- Maintain and protect the positive and professional representation of Team MJV and its image at all times
- Report all accidents and workman’s comp issues to Team MJV office within 24 hours of occurrence
- Address and resolve customer and/or personnel questions and/or issues in an accurate and timely manner
- Maintain clean and professional appearance according to Team MJV uniform guidelines:
- White MJV Button-up, Collared Shirt / Black MJV Embroidered Polo
- Black or Khaki Colored Pants
QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma or equivalent required, secondary education preferred
- 2 years of managerial experience required
- Previous experience in related field preferred
- Must have a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Ability to work independently with limited supervision
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent problem solving skills with the ability to delegate responsibilities
- Proficient computer skills
- Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with others and follow up in timely manner
- Effective multi-tasking and time management skills
- Working knowledge, use, and maintenance of equipment, products, services, and supplies
- Ability to guide, inspire, and build relationships with incoming and seasoned team members
