What are the responsibilities and job description for the Custodian/Janitor position at TEAM INDUSTRIES?
Supervisory Responsibilities: None
Purpose: Responsible for cleaning of specific areas of the plant and performing other maintenance-related activities.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
- Ensure a clean & safe work environment for self and others. Follows all safety rules and regulations. Demonstrate commitment to safety program
- Cleaning of restrooms, office areas, lunchroom, and other common areas
- Emptying of garbage containers and recycle bins as needed
- Maintain inventory of cleaning, toiletry, and lunch room supplies
- Empty, clean, refill mop buckets where applicable
- Promote a positive atmosphere. Actively support activities that promote the welfare and morale of TEAM employees
- Will be required to perform other duties as requested, directed or assigned
