Sweetwater Propane Inc. is a local propane company that focuses on meeting our customers' needs. Our professional team utilizes their knowledge, abilities, and resources to enrich the lives of our customers, community, and each other. We are looking for a Class A or Class B CDL Propane Delivery Driver to deliver propane to customers in our local delivery area. This position will be based at our New Holland location.
What You'll Do as a Propane Bobtail Driver:
- Deliver propane safely and on schedule to homes, farms, and businesses.
- Operate a propane bobtail while following all safety and transportation regulations.
- Inspect your truck daily and keep it clean and well-maintained.
- Report any safety issues, damage, or maintenance needs.
- Provide friendly, professional service to customers on every stop.
- Participate in an on-call rotation for after-hours and emergency deliveries.
- Work outdoors and drive in a variety of weather conditions.
- Travel locally (typically within ~35 miles of the shop).
Our Ideal Propane Bobtail Driver:
- Certifications: Must be 25 with a valid Class A or B CDL and Hazmat, Tanker, and Air Brake endorsements; must pass DOT physical and drug screen.
- Safety-focused: Prioritizes safety, follows regulations, and takes responsibility for doing the job right.
- Professional: Shows up consistently, represents the company well, and communicates clearly with customers.
- Adaptable: Handles changing conditions, schedules, and situations with a steady, problem-solving mindset.

- Tech-capable: Basic computer skills for tracking deliveries and completing documentation.
- Physical Requirements: Able to lift and handle equipment weighing 50-75 lbs.

- $28 /hour, depending on experience
- Full-time position, Monday-Friday (hours may extend during winter months)
- On-call rotation for Saturdays during the winter season
