We seek a Part-Time Payroll Administrator to ensure accurate payroll processing and support key accounting functions. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys detail-oriented work and wants to expand their expertise, including the chance to learn and gain hands-on experience in employee benefits administration.
As a Payroll Administrator, you will:
- Process payroll in QuickBooks
- Manage payroll tax filings and payroll liability payments
- Track & process production and quarterly bonuses
- Learn employee benefits enrollment, including 401(k) and health insurance
- Set up new employees in the payroll system and ensure proper paperwork is collected
- Track PTO, process end-of-year payouts, and monitor eligibility for raises and benefits
- Schedule employee reviews and prepare necessary paperwork
- Assist with general journal entries, job profit & loss reporting, and other accounting tasks as needed

Our Ideal Payroll Administrator:
- Experienced: 2 years of payroll experience, QuickBooks payroll processing, Office 365, and Excel are preferred. Knowledge of job costing is a plus.
- Detail-oriented: Accuracy matters in payroll, and you have a keen eye for catching mistakes.
- Organized & Process-driven: You follow structured workflows and ensure every step gets completed correctly.
- Trustworthy & Confidential: You handle sensitive payroll and benefits information professionally and discreetly.
- Inquisitive: You ask the right questions to verify details and ensure payroll is processed accurately.
- Team Player: You work well with others, supporting teammates while staying focused on your responsibilities.
