What You'll Do as an Electrical Mechanical Field Technician:
- Travel to our agricultural, industrial, and commercial clients to provide on-site service
- Diagnose & repair electrical and mechanical issues independently.
- Install, integrate, & upgrade systems per blueprints and specs.
- Perform preventative maintenance to ensure maximum performance and safety
- Maintain detailed service records and parts inventory.
- Collaborate with engineers and teams to optimize system performance.
- Communicate with customers to schedule visits and provide updates.
- Receive on-the-job training and support from more experienced technicians
- Work full-time from 6:45 AM to 4 PM, with some variation based on job demands.
- Participate in a monthly on-call rotation (one week per month).
Our Ideal Electrical Mechanical Field Technician:
- Experience:
- Level 1 Techs: 1-2 years in the electrical, mechanical, or maintenance fields – OR – trade school/vocational training in a related field. Basic knowledge of electrical circuits, mechanical systems, and hand tools.
- Level 2 Techs: 3 years of experience in electrical, mechanical, or maintenance fields, and a high school diploma is required. Solid understanding of electrical wiring, circuitry, mechanical systems, controls, and ability to interpret blueprints and technical manuals. Familiar with stop/start circuits; hands-on PLC experience preferred but not required.
- Self-starter: Proactively manages priorities and adapts to changing work demands. Performs mid-level electrical and mechanical repairs with minimal supervision.
- Communicative: Maintains good communication with co-workers and customers.
- Team Player: Collaborates well and maintains cooperative working relationships.
- Problem-Solver: Applies logical thinking to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues calmly under pressure.
- Tech-Savvy: Comfortable operating computers and tablets for documentation and diagnostics.
- Active: Able to stoop, bend, push, and stand for long periods; full range of motion and dexterity required; able to lift up to 70 lbs.
- Must have your own set of basic tools

- Competitive Pay Based on Experience:
- Level 1 Techs - $20-$25 per hour
- Level 2 Techs - $26-$29 per hour
