What you'll do as a Parking Lot Sweeper Driver:
- Sweep parking lots at assigned commercial locations during overnight hours.
- Hand-pick trash and empty trash cans as needed at job sites.
- Complete pre-trip inspections of the truck before each shift.
- Report maintenance or equipment issues promptly to the mechanic or supervisor.
- Follow assigned routes and complete stops as scheduled.
- Report site conditions or issues observed at each parking lot to the manager.
- Travel to job sites as needed, with the longest routes typically 1 to 1½ hours away.
Our Ideal Parking Lot Sweeper Driver:
- Experience: No previous experience required; on-the-job training provided. Must be at least 21 years old, hold a valid non-CDL driver's license, and have a high school diploma or equivalent preferred, or demonstrated ability to perform the required work.
- Reliable & Consistent: Shows up as scheduled, completes routes as assigned, and takes pride in steady, dependable work.
- Detailed & Safety-conscious: Notices site conditions, follows safety procedures, and works carefully around equipment and job sites.
- Hard-working: Willing to perform physical tasks and stay productive throughout the shift.
- Active: Able to lift up to 75 pounds unassisted and get in and out of the truck repeatedly during a shift.
What We Offer Our Parking Lot Sweeper Driver:
- $18-$22 per hour, DOE
- Full-time schedule, 40 hours per week
- Overnight hours, Sunday-Saturday, averaging 8:00 p.m.-4:00 a.m.
