We seek an experienced nursing leader (Nurse Manager or Charge Nurse) to join our team as the Director of Nursing, utilizing their leadership expertise to transform lives, inspire a team, and advance holistic, evidence-based care.
What you'll do as a Director of Nursing:
- Lead, mentor, & supervise nursing staff, fostering a supportive and team-oriented environment while assisting with training and competency development.
- Oversee the recruitment, onboarding, and scheduling of nursing personnel to ensure proper coverage across all shifts and programs.
- Develop, implement, & maintain nursing policies, procedures, and workflows that align with state, federal, and accreditation standards.
- Review incident reports, perform chart audits, and ensure documentation, infection control, and safety practices meet CDC, OSHA, and Joint Commission standards.
- Communicate & collaborate daily with the interdisciplinary team to ensure continuity of care and holistic treatment across programs.
- Manage vendor relationships and oversee inventory and supplies to ensure efficient and well-equipped clinical operations.
- Participate in leadership and cross-departmental meetings to guide ongoing quality improvement and departmental growth.
- Provide hands-on clinical support as needed, assisting with patient care, medication administration, and assessments.
Our Ideal Director of Nursing:
- Experienced: At least 5 years in nursing with at least two years in leadership or management. Experience as a Nurse Manager or Charge Nurse is highly valuable, especially within behavioral health or eating disorder settings.
- Licensed: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required; active RN license in Colorado.
- Collaborative Leader: Encourages teamwork across departments and models a servant leadership approach that uplifts and unites the nursing staff.
- Proactive & Curious: Anticipates needs, approaches challenges with curiosity, and seeks creative, growth-minded solutions as the program develops.
- Empathetic & Steady: Balances compassion with composure, calmly navigating high-intensity or emotionally charged situations with diplomacy and grace.
- Tech-savvy: Proficient in Microsoft Office and comfortable learning and navigating EMR and other software systems efficiently.

- $95,000 - $120,000/year. DOE
