Position Summary:
The Restaurant Assistant Manager supports the Restaurant Manager in overseeing daily restaurant operations, ensuring high-quality service, food safety, and efficient workflow. This role assists in leading the team, maintaining operational standards, and providing a positive dining experience for all guests.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist in managing day-to-day restaurant operations, including staffing, scheduling, and workflow management.
- Supervise, train, and motivate team members to deliver exceptional customer service.
- Support the Restaurant Manager in inventory control, ordering, and stock management.
- Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and health regulations.
- Monitor restaurant performance metrics, including sales, labor costs, and customer satisfaction.
- Handle customer concerns and complaints professionally and promptly.
- Participate in hiring, onboarding, and performance evaluations of staff.
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and visual standards of the restaurant.
- Act as Manager on Duty in the absence of the Restaurant Manager.
- Promote a positive team culture and adherence to company policies.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree or higher preferred.
- Previous restaurant or food service management experience preferred.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of POS systems, cash handling, and inventory management.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 lbs.
