Team Air Distributing is hiring a Strategic Pricing Manager in Nashville, TN.
We’re looking for a strategic, analytical pricing leader to help evolve and modernize pricing across our HVAC distribution business. As Team Air continues to expand, we are investing in a more data-driven and scalable pricing function focused on improving pricing consistency, margin visibility, reporting, and automation across the organization while supporting long-term customer relationships.
This role will lead pricing strategy, margin optimization, quote governance, and pricing analytics while partnering closely with sales, purchasing, and leadership teams across the organization. This is an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys building scalable processes, improving visibility through data and analytics, and influencing better business decisions through cross-functional collaboration.
What You’ll Do:
• Develop and manage pricing strategies across HVAC product categories
• Analyze margins, market trends, vendor costs, and customer pricing performance
• Lead and oversee strategic quotes, discount structures, rebate programs, and contract pricing
• Improve pricing processes, reporting, and operational consistency
• Partner cross-functionally with sales, purchasing, operations, and leadership
• Help modernize pricing tools, analytics, and automation capabilities
What We’re Looking For:
• 5 years of pricing, finance, revenue management, or distribution analytics experience
• Leadership experience managing people, projects, or cross-functional initiatives
• Strong Excel and analytical skills
• Experience working in distribution, wholesale, manufacturing, or HVAC environments preferred
• ERP, CPQ, BI, or pricing systems experience strongly preferred
Preferred Experience:
• HVAC or wholesale distribution
• Salesforce CPQ, Infor CSD, or Phocas
• Rebate programs and distribution pricing models
• Power Query, Power Automate, or AI-driven process improvements
• Lean/Six Sigma or continuous improvement initiatives
