Job Summary:

We’re a high-volume bar, restaurant, and event space located in downtown Nashville, looking for a dynamic and experienced Event Sales Manager to lead the daily operations of private event sales. This position is responsible for creating unique sales strategies that are not only engaging but unique and inherently hospitable. This role will supervise private event sales in the building for large and small parties, work with the Strategic Hospitality team to manage financial performance, maintain a positive workplace culture, ensure high levels of employee engagement and retention, and prioritize the overall guest experience.


Key Responsibilities:

The Event Sales Manager will be responsible for:

  • Oversee all aspects of social and corporate event planning, including but not limited to, venue management and conducting tours, managing the event calendar, managing vendor and influencer relationships, and coaching the events team to deliver exceptional experiences
  • Work with Strategic Hospitality to strategize on new revenue streams, entertainment ideas, and event business
  • Maintain knowledge of current information, including city-wide events and other items that could affect business
  • Research and develop market opportunities, identifying trends, and translating data into actionable sales plans to achieve the company’s goals
  • Discuss leads, booking trends, and opportunities to ensure success
  • Work closely with SH Director of Operations and Chief Operating Officer on initiatives and objectives all the while enhancing guest experiences and maximizing revenue opportunities
  • Anticipate and accommodate needs of guests and ensure a culture of guest accommodation is rampant within the venue
  • Manage assigned operational functions within the venue consistent with the strategic plan and vision
  • Manage responsibilities for the departments to include: hiring of new team members, promotions, creating a work environment that promotes teamwork, performance feedback, discipline, recognition, and termination
  • Supervise and monitor guest satisfaction scores/metrics and ensure digital presence and social reviews receive 100% response rate
  • Instill a culture of employee recognition alongside consistent and compassionate leadership
  • Ensure compliance with all local, state and federal laws and regulations


Pay: $75,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
