Cannery Hall is one of Nashville’s largest independent music venues, home to three live music stages and a dedicated private events space. We host everything from corporate events and weddings to brand activations, festivals, and private celebrations—and we’re looking for a proven event sales professional to help grow that business.
The Role
As Private Events & Venue Sales Manager, you’ll own private event revenue from first inquiry through execution. This is a client-facing, sales-driven role for someone who knows how to sell experiences—not just space—and who thrives in a fast-paced hospitality or entertainment environment.
What You’ll Do
Sell and manage private events including corporate events, weddings, and social gatherings
Proactively generate leads and close new business
Build relationships with event planners, DMCs, caterers, hotels, and local partners
Serve as the main point of contact for clients from booking through event execution
Coordinate logistics with internal teams and outside vendors
Oversee events on-site as needed to ensure an exceptional guest experience
Who You Are
3–5 years of event sales experience (venue, hotel, hospitality, or entertainment preferred)
Confident communicator with strong organizational and relationship-building skills
Detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable juggling multiple events at once
Flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends
Passionate about hospitality, live events, and creating memorable experiences
