Job Summary:
We are looking for a driven and customer-focused HVAC Territory Manager to grow sales, manage relationships, and develop new business within an assigned territory. This is a commission-based role once the guarantee has been met with unlimited earning potential, ideal for a self-starter with HVAC industry knowledge and a strong sales mindset.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a sales strategy to meet or exceed revenue goals within the territory
- Build, manage, and grow relationships with HVAC contractors, dealers, and key accounts
- Identify and secure new business opportunities and convert prospects into long-term customers
- Provide product training, support, and troubleshooting assistance to clients
- Stay up to date with market trends, industry developments, and competitor activity
- Use CRM tools to track leads, sales activity, and pipeline progress
- Represent Team Air at trade shows, association events, and training sessions as needed
- Minimum 3 years of HVAC industry experience in sales, account management, or territory management
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, products, and industry practices
- Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM platforms
- Must be based in or near Evansville, IN and have a deep understanding of the regional HVAC market
- Reliable personal transportation is required; this role involves daily territory travel
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Mechanical Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Technical HVAC certifications (EPA, NATE, etc.) are a plus
- Experience working with distributors, contractors, or manufacturers
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
