Position Summary:
Team 360 Staffing is seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Operator Trainee to join our client's team in Santa Clara, CA. Our client is a company dedicated to manufacturing cardboard boxes. The ideal candidate will have strong basic math, communication, and organizational skills, as well as a genuine interest in the position and a strong commitment to learning and growth.
Full-Time: Monday through Friday | 6am-2:30pm (day shift) or 2:30pm-11pm (swing shift) (Potential Saturday OT)
Pay: $19/hr.

Location: Santa Clara, CA
Job duties:
• Assists the operator in setting up the machine, which includes but is not limited to slotting knives, heads, feed sections, print plates, and die-cut tooling.
• May help with mounting printing plates and cutting dies.
• May ink the machine and use chemicals to adjust ink properties and clean printing plates.
• Feeds corrugated sheets.
• Cuts strapping from corrugated bales.
• Lifts pallets.
• Helps clean the machine.
• Maintains a clean work area at all times.
• Chemicals used: cold glue, silicone spray, water-based flexographic ink, pH adjuster, antifoam, and Myer Ameri-clear.
Requirements:
• Abe to start ASAP
• Must have excellent communication skills
• Basic math skills needed
• Experience with machinery is a plus
• Must have own steel-toed boots
•Ability to lift, move, and handle production materials
