Key Responsibilities
- Inspect, troubleshoot, and diagnose issues in mechanical equipment and production machinery.
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on machines, tools, conveyors, and hydraulic/pneumatic systems.
- Replace or repair worn or defective parts such as bearings, gears, belts, and motors.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical diagrams, and maintenance manuals.
- Adjust functional parts of equipment and control instruments.
- Maintain maintenance logs and records of repairs and parts used.
- Ensure machinery is operating at peak efficiency and meets safety standards.
- Collaborate with production operators to schedule downtime and minimize disruption.
- Assist in the installation and setup of new machinery or equipment.
- Follow all safety protocols and OSHA regulations to maintain a safe work environment.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required; technical or trade school certification preferred.
- 3 years of experience as a machine or industrial mechanic in a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
- Knowledge of mechanical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and basic electrical troubleshooting.
- Ability to read schematics, machine drawings, and service manuals.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Physical ability to lift heavy parts, stand for long periods, and work in confined spaces.
- Willingness to work flexible hours or shifts if needed.
Working Conditions:
- Work performed in a factory or production facility with exposure to noise, dust, oil, and machinery.
- Must wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
- May require overtime or weekend work based on production needs.
Salary : $30 - $35
