Position Overview
We are seeking a dependable and safety-conscious Sit-Down Forklift Operator to support warehouse and material handling operations. The ideal candidate will have previous sit-down forklift experience and a strong commitment to workplace safety, efficiency, and teamwork
.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down forklifts to move materials between receiving, storage, production, and shipping areas.
- Load and unload trucks and trailers safely and efficiently.
- Transport raw materials to production workstations and move finished goods to designated staging areas.
- Position pallets safely in assigned warehouse locations and storage bays.
- Secure loads and verify pallet stability prior to movement.
- Wrap and shrink-wrap pallets as needed.
- Conduct routine equipment inspections and report any safety or maintenance concerns.
- Follow all company safety policies and OSHA guidelines.
- Assist with general warehouse duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Previous sit-down forklift experience required.
- Ability to safely load, unload, and transport materials.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds when necessary.
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
- Forklift certification preferred but not required.
