Essential duties and responsibilities of a cashier
- Keeping a clean storefront.
- Engages with customers to ensure they are satisfied with the service being provided.
- Promotes specials, sales, and our Teal's Market App.
- Manages cash intake and counting out registers at end of shift.
- Communicates regularly with the store manager about customer concerns, associate issues, and anything significant.
- Adheres to company policies and guidelines.
Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Should have a friendly and calm demeanor.
- Demonstrates excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Must work well with a team.
- Must be comfortable handling and counting money.
- Must be able to lift and move boxes.
