Senior Electrical Engineer

Overview
We’re looking for a senior-level electrical engineer focused on control systems for power generation applications. This role supports the design and deployment of plant-level control solutions used in distributed energy environments such as microgrids and data center infrastructure.
You will work directly with customers and internal engineering teams to deliver reliable, scalable control architectures while maintaining technical standards and adapting to evolving project needs.
What You’ll Do
- Lead technical ownership of controls-related workstreams, including defining system requirements, validation strategies, and test procedures
- Execute detailed electrical and controls engineering across project phases (design, development, and integration)
- Develop and test control logic and supporting software for power generation systems
- Support commissioning efforts at customer sites, ensuring systems perform as intended
- Evaluate existing solutions and identify opportunities for design improvements and product enhancements
- Collaborate across engineering disciplines and stakeholders to deliver complete plant control solutions
What You Bring
- Degree in Electrical Engineering or a similar field (Bachelor’s or higher)
- Strong experience with PLC/controls programming, including structured text (IEC 61131-3)
- Familiarity with scripting or analytical tools such as Python or MATLAB (nice to have)
- Experience working with industrial communication protocols (e.g., Modbus TCP/IP, IEC 61850)
- Understanding of power system controls and automation concepts
- Ability to work both independently and within cross-functional teams
- Willingness to travel (~25–30%) to support project execution and commissioning
- Valid work authorization for the U.S.
