Job Description
TEAK Restaurant, one of Red Bank's premier dining and nightlife destinations, is looking for outgoing, professional, and energetic Hosts and Hostesses to join our front-of-house team.
We are looking for individuals who are confident, personable, organized, and capable of creating a great first impression while working in a fast-paced, high-volume restaurant.
As the first and last point of contact for our guests, our hosts play an important role in delivering the hospitality and guest experience TEAK is known for.
Responsibilities
- Warmly greet and welcome guests with a friendly, professional attitude.
- Manage reservations, walk-ins, waitlists, and seating arrangements.
- Coordinate table availability and seating rotation with management and servers.
- Answer incoming phone calls and assist with guest inquiries.
- Communicate wait times accurately and professionally.
- Maintain an organized, clean, and welcoming host stand and entrance.
- Assist with special occasions, large parties, and VIP reservations.
- Work closely with management to ensure smooth restaurant operations.
- Handle guest concerns professionally and efficiently.
- Maintain a polished, professional appearance at all times.
Qualifications
- Previous restaurant hosting or hospitality experience preferred. Will train on the job.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Friendly, outgoing personality with a genuine passion for hospitality.
- Ability to multitask and stay organized under pressure.
- Comfortable working in a busy, high-energy environment.
- Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented.
- Must be available to work weekends and evenings.
