What are the responsibilities and job description for the Title I Reading and Math Teacher (Spring Semester Only) position at TeachIowa?
Red Oak Community School District is seeking a qualified full-time Title I Teacher for the Spring 2025 semester. This position will provide supplemental reading and/or math instruction to Title I–identified students and support the implementation of evidence-based intervention practices within the MTSS framework. The successful candidate will deliver small-group and individualized interventions, collaborate with classroom teachers, and use assessment data to guide and monitor student progress.
Qualifications:

Valid Iowa Teaching License

Reading, math, or elementary endorsements preferred

Knowledge of evidence-based literacy and math intervention practices

Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills

Experience with diagnostic assessments and progress monitoring tools preferred
Responsibilities:

Provide targeted Title I interventions in reading and/or math

Use diagnostic and progress monitoring data to guide instruction

Collaborate with classroom teachers, interventionists, and MTSS teams

Maintain accurate student records and Title I documentation

Support the goals of the district’s literacy and math plans, MTSS efforts, and Title I program requirements
