Basic Function of the Position:
Assist students and teachers in the learning environment.
Qualifications
Mandatory: High School Graduate
Ability to work with people
Ability to organize and maintain files and materials

Duties and tasks of the Position
- Assist students in the modifications to their individual education program.
- Maintain group discipline in an education setting.
- Organize education material or ideas.
- Establish & maintain relationships with students.
- Mentor students on their study and life skills.
- Monitor student classroom activities.
- Use behavior modification techniques.
- Participate in staff training programs.
Employment Information:
- Employed by the Sioux Center Board of Education upon the recommendation of the Superintendent.
- Directly reports to the building principal
- The salary for this position is set by the Sioux Center Community School Board of Education and is an hourly rate of pay
